Hi, I'm Jenny, a website copywriter for service businesses —
With a background in STEM and a slight obsession with other people's industries.
Before I wrote websites, I was training tiny zebra finches to fly with weights on their backs in the name of science, spent time in the Mozambican bush on the trail of elephant dung (long story — ask me on the call), and studied wildlife biology in Montana. The common thread:
I've never met a subject I wasn't curious about.
I'm based in the Netherlands with my fiancé and two dogs, and I work with service business owners across Europe, the UK, and beyond.
Oh, and it's pronounced "sure side." Suirside Studio is named after the River Suir, which runs through my hometown of Clonmel in Ireland.

“I knew I needed help but was dreading bringing someone in — in the past I'd worked with someone who didn't listen and just wanted to do things their way.
Jenny was completely different.”
“She asked lots of questions, really took the time to understand my ideas, and never once made me feel thick.”

Frequently Asked Questions
-
Most website copywriting projects take three to four weeks from start to finish. It takes me roughly a week to write the first draft, then a week for you to review, and another week or so for edits and the final polish.
Timelines can vary but if you have a launch date in mind, just let me know.
-
I'll share your first draft in a Google Doc. You leave comments, questions, and any changes you'd like directly in the document.
There’s no need to rewrite anything yourself, just tell me what you’re thinking. I'll go through everything, make the changes I can, and we'll jump on a call to talk through anything that needs more discussion.
Each project includes up to two rounds of revisions.
-
Yes. I typically offer two options: a 50/50 split (50% upfront to lock in the project, 50% on delivery) or a three-way split (50% upfront, 25% after your first draft, 25% before final delivery).
Get in touch and we can work out what suits you best.
Frequently Asked Questions
-
Before I write a word, I go through your existing content — website, social media, anywhere you've already put your voice out there — to get a feel for how you naturally communicate.
I'll also ask you directly about any language you love, language you'd never use, and anything that feels off-brand.
-
As long as you've filled in the questionnaire thoroughly and shared everything relevant on our discovery call, this won’t happen. I'll ask for examples of websites you like, competitors you're watching, and any specific layout you have in mind, so the copy fits what you have in mind.
Do remember there's a reason for everything I write and where it sits within the flow of the site, but your two rounds of revisions are there to make sure the final version is one you love.
-
Yes. I offer monthly retainer options for clients who need regular updates or new content. This works well for businesses that need to update their site regularly with things like adding new staff or services, monthly blog posts, or for ongoing email or social copy.
Get in touch to discuss what ongoing support might look like for your business.
